Just reserve and unlock the same car like you normally would. You’ll have 5 free minutes to collect your stuff. Important: don’t turn on the ignition unless you’re planning to drive. If you stay longer than 5 minutes, you’ll automatically start a paid reservation.

After 24 hours, you can still find the car on our live map. If you don’t see your vehicle on the map, it may be in use by another customer at the moment. You can find available vehicles here:

What happens when I get a flat tire?

If you experience a flat tire during your trip, don’t worry—we’re here to help! Here’s what you should do:

Pull over safely: First and foremost, make sure you stop the car in a safe location.

Contact us immediately: Let us know about the flat tire as soon as possible by reaching out through the CityBee app or our customer service. We’ll guide you on the next steps and assist with any necessary arrangements.

Don’t attempt repairs on your own: We’ll take care of everything, so there’s no need to replace the tire yourself. Just follow the instructions provided by our team.

The good news is that the BeeChill fee is designed to cover tire repairs, provided that you follow our Terms of Service and adhere to traffic laws. You’ll be covered as long as the flat tire isn’t caused by actions like driving on it while it’s flat, causing more damage, or failing to report the incident.

Entering Jūrmala

Minimum trip price

The minimum trip price is the smallest amount payable for our services, deducted from your payment account once you unlock the car or extend your reservation. If your trip cost exceeds the minimum, the remaining amount will be charged by the end of the trip. However, if the total is less than the minimum, the difference won’t be refunded.

You’ll find the minimum trip price for each car listed in the app.

Please note that discounts do not apply to the minimum trip price.

Using a car for more than 24 hours

If you want to use the car for a day, a week, or longer, you can choose from our prepaid package deals.

The price of the fixed prepaid package will be charged at the beginning of the trip and the price for the extra kilometers and/or time will be charged during or at the end of the journey, depending on the length of your trip.

You can find all of the prepaid packages in the CityBee app by clicking on the chosen car reserve button.

If you happen to exceed the kilometers and /or time included in the price of the package, you will be able to continue the journey safely.

After the prepaid package ends (mileage and time included are finished), you will be paying for additional minutes and/or kilometers as specified in the chosen package deal.

You can also continue your trip by purchasing one more additional prepaid package without completing the active reservation.

If you decide to end the trip before using the time and /or kilometers indicated on the prepaid package, this balance will not be refunded.

Use is no different from a short-term CityBee rent, and all the benefits offered (insurance, fuel, washing) remain as well.

Choose the car you want from the CityBee fleet, reserve it, and start your journey.

Driver's license registry

If you’d like to use the car-sharing service, you’ll need to confirm the validity of your driver’s license.

You can do this in just a few minutes by following the steps in the ‘CityBee’ app. Open the app, choose Add driver’s license and enter your driver license number.

We now offer several ways to confirm your license:

Smart-ID or Mobile-ID

Available for users whose driver’s license can be verified through these electronic identification methods.

Uploading photos

If you prefer pictures, you can complete the process by taking a few photos directly in the app. You’ll be asked to:

1) Take a selfie;

2) Take a selfie while holding your driver’s license;

3) Take a photo of the front side of the document.

Whichever method you choose, please make sure your document is valid and undamaged. When taking photos ensure good lighting and that document is removed from any cover or case so your document number, personal identification number, and personal photo can be clearly seen.

Note: We accept only photocard driver’s licenses.

If your country is not on the list – unfortunately, you will not be able to register.

Also, our system is unable to accept International Driver’s Permits/ Licenses.
