Insurance of CityBee cars

All CityBee cars are covered by compulsory Civil Liability Insurance, so you do not need to worry about the insurance. The car is equipped with an insurer-compliant, satellite-linked security system that will protect CityBee from possible theft.

How can I find out when my CityBee subscription plan expires?

Due to company policy, we are able to provide our services to customers who have Drivers licenses issued from one of these countries listed below.

If your country is not on the list – unfortunately, you will not be able to register.

Also, our system is unable to accept International Driver’s Permits/ Licenses.

On what basis do you process my personal data?

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent in order to conclude, execute, and administer the agreement concluded with you, to comply with the requirements of legal acts, and for the legitimate interest.

The CityBee Privacy Policy (https://citybee.lt/en/privacy-policy/) provides detailed information on the purpose of processing your personal data and the duration of storage thereof.

End of the trip

Park the car in ‘CityBee’ zone when you’re finished. All zones are shown on the app map. For more details on parking zones, see our guide here.

Before you hop out, do a quick check:

– Grabbed all your stuff

– Car documents and accessories still in the car

– Key back where you found it (or somewhere the next person will easily spot it)

– Windows and sunroof closed

Then just open your active trip in the app, hit ‘End trip’, and confirm. Make sure the doors actually lock. You’ll get a confirmation.

Left something behind?

No worries. You can unlock the car once for free to grab your things. Find out more about retrieving lost items here.

Disconnecting the electric car from the charging station

Please note that this service is provided in Lithuania and Estonia.

Lithuania:

Make sure the car is unlocked.
Take the car keys and find the charging coin (RFID key) attached (there are two coins: one for “IgnitisON” and one for “ElintaCharge”).
In case of charging at the “IgnitisON” charging station or “ElintaCharge” fast charging station:
1. Approach the charging station, scan the charging token, and choose “Stop Charging” (“Sustabdyti”).
2. Wait a few seconds until the charging process is fully stopped.
3. Gently unplug the cable from the vehicle and leave it at the charging station.
In case of charging the vehicle at a 2-slot “ElintaCharge” station:
1. Scan the charging token and wait for a few seconds until the word “Charging” on the station stops lightning.
2. Wait a few seconds until the charging process is fully stopped.
3. Gently unplug the cable from the charging station first and then unplug it from the CityBee vehicle.
4. Don’t leave the cable at the charging station, put the cable back in the car:
  
  • In the case of the VW e-Crafter electric van – under the front center seat
  
  • In the case of a passenger car – to the spare wheel space in the trunk.

If you cannot unplug the cable from the car easily, take the car keys and press the “Unlock” button twice again.

Estonia:

Make sure the car is unlocked
Take the ‘Eleport’ charging card from sun visor
To disconnect the charger in Eleport charging station:

Take the Eleport charging card and tap it on the reader
Press ”Stop Charging” (”Lõpeta laadimine”) – this process may take up to 30 seconds
Disconnect the charging cable from the car and put it back to the charger

Leaving the car in private parking lots

Parking in private paid lots is allowed, but you will need to cover the parking cost yourself.

Additionally, regardless of whether the area is shown in the app as a free parking zone (transparent) or a paid parking zone (yellow), customers must always comply with local traffic regulations, road signs, supplementary signs, and any other parking restrictions in force.

Before ending your reservation, always make sure that parking is permitted in the selected location.

Does the BeeChill Fee cover accidental interior damage?

BeeChill fee can cover accidental interior damage, as long as the damage wasn’t intentional, and you inform us about the incident right away. We understand that accidents happen, and we’re here to help.

However, the BeeChill fee does not cover the damages caused by things like smoking, excessive trash, or spills that require dry cleaning. For these situations, a cleaning fee will apply. For more details, please check our Pricelist.
