Why is the service labeled as BETA?

The CityBee subscription is a test service. We are constantly looking for new ways to help our customers travel more affordably and conveniently. In planning the CityBee subscription, we considered the needs of our most active customers and decided to offer plans for the most common types of city trips, allowing customers to enjoy cost-effective travel without worrying about time. We will periodically evaluate the service’s activity and improve it as needed. All customer feedback and expectations are highly appreciated. CityBee reserves the right to change the terms of the CityBee subscription at any time.

What should I do if I don’t want to use up the trip from the subscription plan?

Account deletion

You can submit your request for the exercise of your rights (as far as your Account is concerned) to us in the following ways:

submitting a request at e-mail info@citybee.lt; info@citybee.lv; info@citybee.ee, from email that is registered in your CityBee account that you want to delete;

submitting a request by e-mail at info@citybee.lt; info@citybee.lv; info@citybee.ee, signed with qualified e-signature (e.g. by use of Smart-ID or M-signature);
In the CityBee app, by selecting Menu -> My profile -> Delete my account.

Duration of registration

I get an error when logging in -“This email address has already been used”

You probably already have a CityBee account linked to this email but it has a different phone number. Contact us by e-mail or by phone and we will help you solve this issue.

Radar function

The radar function in the CityBee app helps the user to be the first to know if any of the CityBee cars are nearby his location at a specific time chosen by the user.

The radar function icon can be found in the “Search” section of the app, to the left of the “Filter” icon. When you click on the icon and activate the radar, it will turn blue.

The minimum radar distance is 150 meters, the maximum – 1250 meters.

When activating the radar, you can choose between two options:

Notification without automatic reservation – when a CityBee car appears at the specified time and distance, the app will send a message to the user to inform them about it.

Automatic reservation – when a CityBee car appears at the specified time and distance, an automatic car reservation will be made by choosing the “Pay as you go” tariff. The tariff can be changed after car reservation. Car reservation remains free until the end of the free reservation period (15 min).

Additional information:

The radar function will be activated at the specified time and will remain active until you reserve your car. If the car is not available within 2 hours, the radar will switch off. The radar function detects only cars that are incoming in the current location of the user and chosen distance when the radar function is activated.

Trip cost calculation

The usage time of the car starts from the moment of unlocking the car or when you click “extend the reservation” and ends when the car is locked via the smartphone app.

Each time you use CityBee, you are able to choose “pay as you go” or prepaid packages.

Trip start fee – additionally applicable to all “pay as you go” trips (not applicable to travel packages). Fee amount for each car is indicated in the App.

Prepaid packages – the prices for the packages are fixed. Prepaid package prices are based on the time and kilometers included. If the time or kilometers included in the package are exceeded, the additional price is calculated according to the set tariff, specified when choosing the package.

You can find all of the available packages and prices in the CityBee app and use the custom package function.

There is no extra charge for fuel and insurance – we take care of it.

Change of password

To change the CityBee self-service password, click on “I forgot/want to change my password” on the website . Once you’ve done that, enter your email address linked with your CityBee account in the box that appears. An email will be sent to your inbox with instructions explaining how to change your password.
