We process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (BDAR) and other legal requirements.

In order to provide you with services and administer them, we process your name, contact details, other data required for the use and provision of the services. The CityBee Privacy Policy provides detailed information on the purpose of processing your personal data and the duration of storage thereof.

Do I have to check the vehicle before the trip?

Due to company policy, we are able to provide our services to customers who have Drivers licenses issued from one of these countries listed below.

If your country is not on the list – unfortunately, you will not be able to register.

Also, our system is unable to accept International Driver’s Permits/ Licenses.

What happens to unused kilometers and time if I travel less than the allocated amount for a single plan trip?

What does the BeeChill fee cover?

The BeeChill fee has your back by covering damages in the event of an accident where you’re at fault. Just remember, it’s essential to report the incident to us immediately.

However, there are situations where BeeChill protection does not apply – the full list of BeeChill exclusions can be found in Section 7.17 of our Terms of Use. BeeChill does not apply in any of the cases listed in Section 7.17.

Below are some of the most common examples:

Failing to report the incident to us;

Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs;

Violating traffic regulations;

Engaging in intentional or grossly negligent actions.

To make sure you’re protected, the BeeChill fee is applied to each trip as outlined in our our Pricelist. For full details, we encourage you to check out the Terms of Service.

Refund

With CityBee, you can easily request a refund right in the app – no need to send emails or fill out forms.

How it works

Open the app, go to the menu, find Trip history, choose your trip, and tap Refund.

Select what the refund is for – fuel, AdBlue, parking, or your trip experience.

Add the required information.

For fuel, AdBlue, or parking – upload a photo of the receipt.

For trip experience – write a short explanation.

Check that everything is filled in and submit your request. Once it’s sent, you’ll see a confirmation message and the request will appear in the Help section. You can also follow the progress of your request in the Help section. Any updates or replies from our Support team will be shown there.

Please note that refunds can only be made to a bank account in the name of the CityBee profile owner who made the reservation.

Driver's license registry

If you’d like to use the car-sharing service, you’ll need to confirm the validity of your driver’s license.

You can do this in just a few minutes by following the steps in the ‘CityBee’ app. Open the app, choose Add driver’s license and enter your driver license number.

We now offer several ways to confirm your license:

Smart-ID or Mobile-ID

Available for users whose driver’s license can be verified through these electronic identification methods.

Uploading photos

If you prefer pictures, you can complete the process by taking a few photos directly in the app. You’ll be asked to:

1) Take a selfie;

2) Take a selfie while holding your driver’s license;

3) Take a photo of the front side of the document.

Whichever method you choose, please make sure your document is valid and undamaged. When taking photos ensure good lighting and that document is removed from any cover or case so your document number, personal identification number, and personal photo can be clearly seen.

Note: We accept only photocard driver’s licenses.
