Disconnecting the electric car from the charging station

Please note that this service is provided in Lithuania and Estonia.

Lithuania:

Make sure the car is unlocked.
Take the car keys and find the charging coin (RFID key) attached (there are two coins: one for “IgnitisON” and one for “ElintaCharge”).
In case of charging at the “IgnitisON” charging station or “ElintaCharge” fast charging station:
1. Approach the charging station, scan the charging token, and choose “Stop Charging” (“Sustabdyti”).
2. Wait a few seconds until the charging process is fully stopped.
3. Gently unplug the cable from the vehicle and leave it at the charging station.
In case of charging the vehicle at a 2-slot “ElintaCharge” station:
1. Scan the charging token and wait for a few seconds until the word “Charging” on the station stops lightning.
2. Wait a few seconds until the charging process is fully stopped.
3. Gently unplug the cable from the charging station first and then unplug it from the CityBee vehicle.
4. Don’t leave the cable at the charging station, put the cable back in the car:
  
  • In the case of the VW e-Crafter electric van – under the front center seat
  
  • In the case of a passenger car – to the spare wheel space in the trunk.

If you cannot unplug the cable from the car easily, take the car keys and press the “Unlock” button twice again.

Estonia:

Make sure the car is unlocked
Take the ‘Eleport’ charging card from sun visor
To disconnect the charger in Eleport charging station:

Take the Eleport charging card and tap it on the reader
Press ”Stop Charging” (”Lõpeta laadimine”) – this process may take up to 30 seconds
Disconnect the charging cable from the car and put it back to the charger

End of the trip

After using the CityBee car, return the vehicle to CityBee parking zone. CityBee parking zones are highlighted on the app map.

Green zone

You can always finish your trip in this area following the road traffic rules. Do not leave the car in disabled parking space or in reserved areas. Attention – green zones are different for electric cars, cars and vans.

Yellow zone

Leaving or picking a Bee up here might incur an extra fee or discount for the trip. Please note that the conditions differ for each area. Click on the desired area to see them.

Red zone

CityBee cars can not be left in these areas. A fine may be applied at the end of the trip if you finish your trip in this zone. Areas that not highlighted are also not CityBee zones and cars can not be left there.

All Citybee zones can be found in the app on the main map.

After completing the trip and parking, make sure that you have not left your belongings in the car, as well as that you have not taken car documents or accessories with you. Remember to leave the key in the car, put it in the same place you picked it up from or leave it in a place where another customer can easily find it. Make sure all windows and sunroof are closed.

When you get out of the car, open the active reservation in the mobile app and select the “End trip” command and confirm this action. Check that the car door has been locked successfully.

Changes to CityBee parking zones in Kaunas vicinity (2024-04-26)

In order to offer more cars where customers need them the most, the boundaries of certain CityBee parking zones in the vicinity of Kaunas will be changed from 26 April 2024. From that date, you will no longer be able to finish your trip with CityBee in these locations:

2 EUR discount for refueling

When you refill a bee with a fuel level less than 25% volume of the tank capacity, a 2 EUR discount will be added to your account for future trips.

ATTENTION! Discount for refueling the car is applied only when the fuel drops to 1/4 volume of the tank capacity and you need to fill a full tank. The discount is given just once during your trip.

The discount will be added to your account within about an hour after the refueling!

A minimum fee will still be charged if the trip is less than it. Discounts will be applied after that.

Why is the service labeled as BETA?

The CityBee subscription is a test service. We are constantly looking for new ways to help our customers travel more affordably and conveniently. In planning the CityBee subscription, we considered the needs of our most active customers and decided to offer plans for the most common types of city trips, allowing customers to enjoy cost-effective travel without worrying about time. We will periodically evaluate the service’s activity and improve it as needed. All customer feedback and expectations are highly appreciated. If you have any comments, please reach out to info@citybee.lt.

CityBee reserves the right to change the terms of the CityBee subscription at any time.

What happens if I exceed the duration or distance allocated for a single trip in my CityBee subscription plan?

If you exceed the maximum allotted time or distance during a trip, standard CityBee per-minute and per-kilometer rates will apply according to the pay-as-you-go pricing for the selected car model. Immediately after your trip, you will receive an invoice via email detailing the additional charges for extra kilometers and/or minutes. This amount will be charged to the payment card linked to your CityBee account.

If, for any reason, the additional charges cannot be deducted from your payment card and a debt is incurred, you will not be able to start a new trip until the outstanding balance is settled.
