As in a regular car, you need to turn the key or press a „Start engine“ button.
Important: It does not turn on until you properly put on a seatbelt.
Moreover, the engine is absolutely silent, so you won’t hear it turned on.
In the CityBee app, parking zones marked in yellow usually have a drop-off and/or pick-up fee for CityBee cars. This fee does not apply to trips made under the CityBee subscription. The drop-off fee in the yellow CityBee zone is not charged even if the trip starts under the subscription plan but ends with the ‘Flexible’ pricing due to exceeding the allocated kilometers and/or minutes in the subscription plan.
When purchasing additional trips, i.e., trip packages, during the subscription period, the CityBee drop-off and/or pick-up fee waiver in the yellow zone does not apply for the package trips.

The usage time of the car starts from the moment of unlocking the car or when you click ‘extend the reservation’ and ends when the car is locked via the smartphone app.
Each time you use CityBee, you are able to choose ‘Flexible’ or prepaid ‘Packages’ pricing.
Trip start fee – additionally applicable to all ‘Flexible’ pricing trips (not applicable to travel packages). Fee amount for each car is indicated in the App.
Prepaid packages – the prices for the packages are fixed. Prepaid package prices are based on the time and kilometers included. If the time or kilometers included in the package are exceeded, the additional price is calculated according to the set tariff, specified when choosing the package.
You can find all of the available packages and prices in the CityBee app and use the custom package function.
There is no extra charge for fuel and insurance – we take care of it.
BeeChill fee can cover accidental interior damage, as long as the damage wasn’t intentional, and you inform us about the incident right away. We understand that accidents happen, and we’re here to help.
However, the BeeChill fee does not cover the damages caused by things like smoking, excessive trash, or spills that require dry cleaning. For these situations, a cleaning fee will apply. For more details, please check our Pricelist.
At CityBee, we prioritize safety, both for our drivers and everyone on the road. If you happen to exceed the speed limit, we’ll call you or send you a notification to remind you to slow down.
However, if after receiving this notification you continue to exceed the speed limit, a fine specified in our Pricelist will be applied. This fine serves as a reminder to follow the rules of the road and keep your driving safe.
By respecting speed limits, you’re not only avoiding fines but also contributing to a safer experience for everyone. Let’s keep it safe and smooth on the roads!
CityBee cars are new and in good technical condition. However, if your car does not start or breaks down (if you hear a strange sound, a red indicator lights on the dashboard or there are other signs of breakdown), please contact us by phone:

Our task is to provide the services you need as soon as possible and smoothly so that any breakdown on the road will cause the least inconvenience and you will be able to continue your trip as soon as possible. No matter where in the city you are, we will quickly make conditions to continue your trip and you will get a compensation.
The CityBee subscription is only available to private customers. Invoices for the CityBee subscription cannot be issued in the name of a legal entity.
It’s important to report damages, and here’s when:
Before starting your trip: No need to worry about minor scratches or dents—we’ll take care of those. However, if you notice anything that could make the car unsafe or unfit to drive, such as a flat tire, broken window, loose or missing trim, or a non-functioning light, please report it through the CityBee app.
During your trip: Report any damage to the vehicle that occurs, no matter how small. This includes accidents or collisions, regardless of who is at fault. By reporting promptly, you’ll ensure you’re covered by the BeeChill fee, and we’ll handle the rest. If you fail to report, you could be held responsible for damages. It’s always better to let us know right away!
