How to get started with CityBee?

To sign up, you need to download the CityBee app to your smart iOS or Android phone.

To register, enter the requested personal data and a valid telephone number to verify signing up.

The final step is to link a payment card to your CityBee account.

If you want to use a car-sharing service, you must confirm your driving license’s validity. You can do it just in a few minutes by following the instructions in the app!

Insurance of CityBee cars

All CityBee cars are covered by compulsory Civil Liability Insurance, so you do not need to worry about the insurance. The car is equipped with an insurer-compliant, satellite-linked security system that will protect CityBee from possible theft.

Smoking in CityBee cars

When and how was I introduced to the procedures and rules?

Children carriage

Children must be carried in kids’ chairs. CityBee cars have kids’ chairs (you can see whether there is a chair in a selected car by clicking on the car icon on the map or using a filter and selecting the criteria “Cars with kids’ chairs”). Chairs are for older children, i.e. this is a raised seat without a backrest.

Road traffic rules warn that children under the age of 12 and not higher than 150 cm are allowed to sit in the front seat only in special seats adapted to their weight and height.

For safety reasons, CityBee cars only provide a group 2/3 booster cushion for children from 22-36 kg, aged 6 to 12 years, following the law.

Drivers license verification video call

During the process of drivers license approval, sometimes the system will ask you to join a video call.

You will receive a link to this call via SMS and e-mail. After receiving this link, please click on it and join the video call during these hours – 8:00-00:00.

If you do not join the video call within 7 days, the driver’s license will not be successfully approved.

Why is the service labeled as BETA?

The CityBee subscription is a test service. We are constantly looking for new ways to help our customers travel more affordably and conveniently. In planning the CityBee subscription, we considered the needs of our most active customers and decided to offer plans for the most common types of city trips, allowing customers to enjoy cost-effective travel without worrying about time. We will periodically evaluate the service’s activity and improve it as needed. All customer feedback and expectations are highly appreciated. CityBee reserves the right to change the terms of the CityBee subscription at any time.

Reserving and unlocking the vehicle

When reserving a car, you have two options:

· Choose a car, click on “Reserve,” and you will get a free 15-minute reservation, giving you access to the car for unlocking

· If you do not unlock the car within this 15-minute window, your reservation will automatically end unless you choose to pay for an extension.

If 15 minutes isn’t enough, you can extend your reservation for longer periods, but keep in mind:

· You can easily extend your reservation through the app after you’ve booked the car. Just click on Reservation and then select Extend.

· After the 15 minutes expire, the paid reservation time will begin. The cost per reserved minute is the same as the cost per minute when driving the car;

· You can extend the reservation for up to 24 hours;

· If you do not unlock the car by selecting “Unlock” in the app, the reservation will automatically end, and you will be charged for the time the reservation was active.
You can cancel a paid reservation at any time, and you will only be charged for the time used.

Once you’ve reached the car, click “Unlock” in the app. The car will unlock, and the keys will be inside the vehicle.
