New CityBee electric cars

Make sure the car is unlocked.

Take the car keys and find the charging coin (RFID key) attached (there are two coins: one for “IgnitisON” and one for “ElintaCharge”).

Approach the charging station, scan the charging coin, and press “Stop Charging”.

Wait until the charging station indicates that the charging process is fully stopped.

Unplug the charging wire:

In case of charging at the “IgnitisON” charging station, gently unplug the cable from the vehicle and leave it at the charging station (if the wire is not chained to the CityBee vehicle)

In case of charging at the “ElintaCharge” charging station, gently unplug the cable from the charging station first and then unplug it from the CityBee vehicle. Put the cable under the driver/passenger seat or in the trunk.

If you cannot unplug the cable from the car easily, take the car keys and press the “Unlock” button once again.

Make sure the car is unlocked.

Open Charger socket cover on the car. If you cannot open it, press “Unlock” on your car key once again.

Put one side of the charger wire in the car electric socket and another side into the charging station:

In case of charging the vehicle
at “IgnitisON” station, you should use their own wire that is already connected to the charging station.

In case of charging the vehicle
at “ElintaCharge” station, take the charging wire from under the front driver/passenger seat or car trunk.

Take the car keys and find the charging coin attached (there are two coins: one for “IgnitisON” and one for “ElintaCharge”).

Approach the charging station, scan the charging coin, and after choosing the correct charging spot, press “Start Charging”.

In every “IgnitisON” or “ElintaCharge” station at CityBee’s cost (in the future they will be marked on CityBee App) or at any regular 220V electric socket that you have access to.

We would be grateful if you do that, so the next user could take a charged car for her/his convenience. In this case, next time you would also find a charged car for your own use. 😉 However, if you are really in a hurry, it is fine – our team would do that instead of you.

Every single CityBee electric vehicle has a different battery with different power settings, thus the charging time varies, too.
Here is their charging time:

Fast Charging Stations (40+ kW) – 0-80% in 50 minutes.

AC charging stations (11 kW) – 0-80% in 3.5h.

Home charging from standard electric 220V socket – 0-80% in 14h.

Every single CityBee electric vehicle has a different mileage which also heavily depends on the current season (i.e. mileage is bigger when the temperature is +15°C rather than -10°C):

Warm Summer – 120 km, Cold Winter – <85 km.

For exact mileage, please take a look at the vehicle’s computer screen after having driven it for at least 5 km.

At the moment we have not prepared this possibility yet, though we are working on that to launch this opportunity for our users to charge CityBee vehicles at their home and be eligible to get a CityBee credit for that in the nearest future.

As in a regular car, you need to turn the key or press a „Start engine“ button.

Important: It does not turn on until you properly put on a seatbelt.

Moreover, the engine is absolutely silent, so you won’t hear it turned on.
