What should I do if my CityBee subscription plan expires before I’ve used all my allocated trips?

What happens if I exceed the duration or distance allocated for a single trip in my CityBee subscription plan?

If you exceed the maximum allotted time or distance during a trip, standard CityBee per-minute and per-kilometer rates will apply according to the pay-as-you-go pricing for the selected car model. Immediately after your trip, you will receive an invoice via email detailing the additional charges for extra kilometers and/or minutes. This amount will be charged to the payment card linked to your CityBee account.

If, for any reason, the additional charges cannot be deducted from your payment card and a debt is incurred, you will not be able to start a new trip until the outstanding balance is settled.

Account deletion

You can submit your request for the exercise of your rights (as far as your Account is concerned) to us in the following ways:

submitting a request at e-mail info@citybee.lt; info@citybee.lv; info@citybee.ee, from email that is registered in your CityBee account that you want to delete;

submitting a request by e-mail at info@citybee.lt; info@citybee.lv; info@citybee.ee, signed with qualified e-signature (e.g. by use of Smart-ID or M-signature);
In the CityBee app, by selecting Menu -> My profile -> Delete my account.

Can I purchase a new CityBee subscription plan if I use up my current one before these 30 days expire?

Payment during a long-term reservation

During long-term reservation (trip package), the sum is charged before the start of the trip and if additional time and/or km is required after the prepayment package ends, the sum for the actual accumulated amount will be deducted during or at the end of the trip.

The money will be deducted from your selected card. If you have money in your CityBee wallet or have accumulated credit, for example for refueling, the funds will be deducted from this amount first. If the amount cannot be deducted, we will ask you to pay it or leave the car.

Why is the service labeled as BETA?

The CityBee subscription is a test service. We are constantly looking for new ways to help our customers travel more affordably and conveniently. In planning the CityBee subscription, we considered the needs of our most active customers and decided to offer plans for the most common types of city trips, allowing customers to enjoy cost-effective travel without worrying about time. We will periodically evaluate the service’s activity and improve it as needed. All customer feedback and expectations are highly appreciated. CityBee reserves the right to change the terms of the CityBee subscription at any time.

Mileage of a fully charged electric car

Please note that this service is provided in Lithuania and Estonia.

Every single CityBee electric vehicle has a different mileage which also heavily depends on the current season (i.e. the mileage is increased when the temperature is +15°C rather than when it’s -10°C):

Volkswagen e-Crafter: warm Summer – 130 km, cold winter – <85 km;

Peugeot e-2008: warm summer in the city ~300 km, out of the city ~220 km; cold winter in the city ~200 km, out of the city ~160 km.
Fiat 500e: warm summer in the city – 240km, out of the city – 180km, cold winter in the city – 190km, out of the city – 140km

For exact mileage, please take a look at the vehicle’s computer screen after having driven it for at least 5 km.

When is it worth choosing the CityBee subscription?

The subscription is ideal for anyone who regularly takes shorter trips (up to 5 km and 15 minutes) in the city with CityBee. Whether it’s just a few times or several trips a month, choose a subscription plan that fits your travel needs, save money, and enjoy additional benefits. However, if you typically take longer trips, we recommend selecting from a variety of trip packages that offer more cost-effective options for longer routes.
